Active Older Adults - Age 55+
These programs are designed to encourage Active Older Adults to maintain a healthy lifestyle through wellness, fitness and social opportunities. Our program offers day trips, lectures, potlucks and other social events. We also have volunteer opportunities and provide ways to get you involved at the La Jolla YMCA.
Our members provide a wonderful network of support to each other and to our community and our program strives to help provide a balanced life of spirit, mind and body to all adult members.
Here is a glimpse of fitness programs we offer to all adults of all fitness levels:
- Low Motion Water Fitness
- Low Impact Aerobics
- Pilates and Yoga Classes
- Stretch and Strength Classes
- Sit and Get Fit Classes
- Line Dancing
- Health Walk
- Balance and Walk Tall Classes
- Senior Fitness Testing twice a year.
