Cardio

Back to Basics A traditional workout focusing on proper form & technique; Hi/Lo Impact & strength training.

Aerobics High intensity class utilizing fun and diverse choreography to keep your workout varied and interesting! This class can be done at a lower intensity to fit all fitness levels.

Step (Levels of Advancement=I, II, III) A great cardio workout that uses an adjustable step bench.

Cardio Interval A great total body workout combining strength training & cardiovascular training.

Line Dancing Experience great exercise while learning popular dances; all levels.

Walking Health Walk *AOA* 3-4 miles, 17-18 minute/mile pace. Walk Fit *AOA 5-6 miles, 15-17 minute/mile pace.

Studio Cycling Workout on specially designed stationary bikes; bring: H2O; all levels.


 
       
   

Muscle Conditioning

Bosu "The Bosu " (meaning both sides up) Is the ultimate functional training tool to improve balance, strength, and core stability.

Strength Training A total body strength and conditioning class incorporating muscle balancing, neural mobility, and body awareness into high intensity resistance training for superior body contouring and enhanced health benefits. Modifiable to all levels.

Stretch-n-Strength *AOA* Emphasize increased flexibility and range of motion while improving functional strength; great for the active older adult.

Abs and Back 25-minute workout to strengthen the muscles of the abs and back. Meets in the Strength and Conditioning Center.

Muscle Max is taking traditional group strength training to a new level using periodization. Periodization is a proven scientific principle which will help you achieve results.

Sit & Be Fit *AOA* Classes are designed for older adults, weights, elastic tubing, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.


 
       
   

Mind & Body

Restorative Yoga *AOA* Emphasizes awareness and relaxation through supported positions focusing on the hips & spine; all levels.

Power Yoga Improve strength and flexibility. Ashtanga, or "Workout Yoga," is best for the intermediate or advanced exercisers.

Hatha Yoga Gentle stretching reduces stress, bringing deep relaxation, peace, and greater flexibility to body and mind.

Pilates Mat based training for the deep internal supportive muscles that balance and strengthen the entire body.

Yoga Basics *AOA* Learn the fundamentals of yoga as you get a great workout. Perfect for beginners!

Tai chi *AOA* A system of flowing movements to calm the mind, increase energy, improve balance, enhance focus and facilitate healing.

NIA Dance is the strength of Pilates, flexibility of Yoga, and muscle tone of Strength Training.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga A dynamic style of yoga to help improve balance, strength and flexibility.


 
       
   

Aquatic Exercise

Water Fitness Stretching, aerobic endurance, upper & lower body training, abdominal & leg work.

Low-motion Water Fitness *AOA* All components of water fitness with lower impact.

Deep Water Workout Suspended components of water fitness in deep water with floatation belt. Prenatal welcome.

AquaFit Total body exercising: endurance, strength, and abdominal components.

Aqua Strength & Tone Workout that includes aerobic endurance, upper and lower body resistance training, abdominal exercises and stretching.

Aqua Jogging Non-impact; floatation belt required; all levels. Sculpt and stretch; high intensity.
