San Diego Junior Theatre  
   

San Diego Junior Theatre is dedicated to enriching youth throughout San Diego County by fostering their development of creativity and self-esteem, as well as enjoyment of theater arts. Through SDJT’s innovative workshop classes, day camps, live productions and community involvement, thousands of young people have been benefiting from this private, non-profit organization.

Founded in 1948, SDJT is the oldest youth theater in the United States. Positively affecting students of all abilities, ages 4 through 18, SDJT thrives through show ticket sales, class and camp enrollments, and the generosity of its alumni and community members. Contributions to SDJT are tax-deductible.

A historical landmark, located in the
heart of the picturesque seaside
village of La Jolla.

A classic mission-style building, the Firehouse is a 6,000 square foot Community Center with several rooms available for meetings and special events.

The historic and spacious Engine Room is ideal for Special Events (Dances, Parties and formal Board Meetings) and is gaining fame for its San Diego Junior Theatre Productions. We offer activities and classes for Kids and Adults, and Specialty Programs for all ages.
