Induction Campout
Spend a great weekend on Fiesta Island! We have rented row/ motor boats and kayaks, on Saturday. You can also bring your own bikes for a bike ride along the bay. Saturday night we will have our induction ceremony and campfire. Sunday from 8am - 12pm the group will do a Rocket Launch at the Over the Line Field with D.A.R.T. Rocket Club.

Miramar Speed Circuit
Race the day away! Miramar Speed Circuit offers drivers an impressive 1/4 mile technical road course. Indoor Karts reach speeds up to 40 mph. This racing experience is fast, fun and safe.

Paintball
Be a part of this fast action game of strategy and determination. We will travel to Velocity Paintball in Ramona for a day of instruction and game play. Paintball is played between two teams who challenge each other to "capture the flag" or "eliminate the opponent". Velocity operates under the highest degree of safety and enables all player to have a great time.

Directions: Travel East on 52 to 15 N. Exit 15 N at Scripps Poway Parkway. Travel east to 67 N. Follow 67 N to Dye Rd. Travel east on Dye Rd. Dye Rd turns left into Ramona St and then right into Warnock Dr. Follow the road until you see the large eucalyptus grove on the right side. The entrance to Velocity is in the eucalyptus grove. If you go to the traffic light at San Vicente Blvd, you went too far.
Big Bear Skiing
We sure don't see any snow in San Diego! Trail Blazers will have the chance to hit the slopes on skis or snowboard, ride a sled or build a snowman! Big Bear offers an assortment of winter activities. Don't forget to bundle up!

Mountain Backpack
We're leaving our cars behind and taking our camping adventure to the next level. Trail Blazers will be doing a beginner backpacking trip. Spring is the perfect time of the year to explore the mountains and the trail will reveal its beauty. A short mile hike will take us to a primitive group camping destination.

River Rafting
Spend 2 days afloat on the lower Kern river. We will be rafting for 2 days and spending the night in between camping on the banks of the river. Conditions should be great. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to spend with your son or daughter. 3 meals and all rafting equipment provided.
Where: We will be rafting the lower Kern river with Whitewater Voyages out of Kernville.

Directions: 5 North onto Hwy 99 and exit onto Hwy 178/ Rosedale Hwy. go east approx. 50 miles, exit Hwy 155/Kernville - turn left and go approx. 10 miles. In Wofford Heights, get off 155 - stay straight towards Kernville. Immediately at the end of the bridge, turn right into Frandy Park. Pay parking fees and follow signs to Whitewater Voyages.
Catalina Campout
Our annual voyage to Catalina Island is just around the corner! You and your child will have the opportunity to snorkel the bountiful coast, kayak the open sea, visit the marine science center, hike the mountainous trails and more. We will also hold a group Campfire at this island campout.
When: July 25-27, 2009 (subject to change)
Where: We will be departing from San Pedro on Sunday at 12:30pm and returning on Tuesday afternoon (2:00pm). We will be camping at Two Harbors Campground for two nights. You will be assigned a site when you arrive at the campground and all families will be camping in the same location. Directions and specific trip information will be sent upon registration.
Beach Camp
Enjoy a weekend on the sand and in the water at Del Mar Beach on Camp Pendleton. There's no experience like camping on the beach! Those who attend this event will be spoiled with catered meals. Any family interested in joining the Trail Blazers may participate in this campout, giving potential Adventure Guides the opportunity to see how the program is run before deciding whether to join.
