Course Includes Prerequisite Class:

Fundamentals of Instructor Training

Course Requirements:

1. Attend and participate in all course sessions.
2. Successfully complete required number of practice teachings.
3. Score at least 80% on final exam.

Registration:

1. MUST come in to the La Jolla YMCA to sign Waiver Certification Registration Form, pay for class, and pick up Information Letter.

Prerequisites:

1. 16 years of age by last day of class
2. Pass pre-course skills test (see info letter)
3. Purchase materials at American Red Cross.
